I got PPD/A when my daughter was 5 months old. The worst part lasted over 2 years. The last year and a half, I am finally feeling like myself and am learning to relive life and to come out of the fog and darkness.
I am a blessed wife and mother. I love crafts, decorating our home, cooking, sewing quilts and spending quality time with family and friends. Life would be a very sad place to me if I could not be creative!
Daily I try to find joy and hope as I walk the path the Lord has laid out, through hardtimes and happiness. HE is there beside me, every step of the way. It is true.
In February of 2011, I was honored to be a part of a week long series called "7 Postpartum Depression Survivors Share their Stories of having more Children." You can read the series here and it will give you a great picture of my life during PPD.
